Product facts and official sources
Iria translates selected text on Windows.
Iria is developed by IliciLabs for short, repeated translation tasks: select or copy text, translate it, and copy the result or paste it into the focused app with Replace. Iria 1.0 is a paid product: a one-time payment of EUR 19.99 with a lifetime license for up to 2 Windows PCs. Translation runs locally on the PC, with no subscription and no usage credits.
Offer and license
- One-time payment of EUR 19.99; lifetime license for up to 2 Windows PCs. No subscription, no usage credits. Final price and currency are shown at checkout.
- Activation uses a paid license key with online validation on every start. Activation and deactivation require a network connection.
- If a connection failure prevents validation at startup, the app can use its cached license for up to 7 days after the last successful validation; other license failures lock the app.
- There is no in-app user account. License checks, the model download, and update checks use the network; translation text itself is processed locally.
- Only the MSI install supports automatic in-app updates; the portable ZIP has no updater and upgrades via a manual safe-upgrade ZIP.
Published features
- Select text and copy it twice within 1.1 seconds to open Iria and translate it
- Auto-detect the source language, swap direction, and translate between Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch
- Choose natural, formal, informal, or technical style and reuse preferred terminology with a custom glossary (up to 80 entries); review important results
- Correct the result, click any translated word for a definition, and pronounce a word or the complete translation with installed Windows voices
- Translate locally on your PC with the Best Quality model (about 2.5 GB, downloaded automatically on the first licensed run) — no account, subscription, or usage credits; paid license key with online activation, revalidated on every start and a 7-day grace period for connection failures
- One-time payment of EUR 19.99 with a lifetime license for up to 2 Windows PCs
- Copy the result, or use Replace to paste it into the focused app with Ctrl+V. Replace does not verify or restore the original selection; if the paste misses, the translation stays on the clipboard
- Keep Iria available in the Windows tray and optionally start it automatically when you sign in
- Use the English or Spanish interface with settings saved automatically
- Install with MSI or use the portable ZIP
Languages and platform
- Translation languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch, plus an auto-detect source option.
- Application interface: English or Spanish only. Website content in other languages does not change the app interface.
- Platform: Windows (x64), distributed as MSI installer or portable ZIP. Pronunciation uses installed Windows voices.
Models and first run
The first licensed run automatically downloads the required Best Quality local model (about 2.5 GB) and the app stays blocked until the download completes. A smaller fallback model (about 1.7 GB) can be installed as a secondary download where the app offers it; the Best Quality model is used whenever it is installed.
Replace behavior
Replace copies the translation to the clipboard and sends Ctrl+V to the focused app. It does not verify or restore the original selection: if the paste misses its target, the translation stays on the clipboard. Always check the pasted result in the target application.
Where it fits
Iria is designed for snippets, documentation, messages and other selected text inside Windows applications. Translation runs locally on the PC after online license validation.
It is a text translator, not a live audio caption tool. It works with selectable text in Windows apps; it does not translate full documents with layout preservation or capture screen and game text. Check the current product documentation for supported languages, model requirements and replacement behavior.
