## What it does

Iria translates selected text and clipboard snippets in short Windows workflows: application text, support replies, interface labels and other snippets. Translation languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, plus an auto-detect source option. App interface: English or Spanish only.

Trigger: copy the same text twice within 1.1 seconds; Iria opens without taking focus. Review tools: direction, style and glossary options, result correction, word definitions, and pronunciation with installed Windows voices. Copy the result, or use Replace to send Ctrl+V to the focused app — Replace does not verify or restore the original selection.

## Price, license, and network boundaries

Iria 1.0 is a paid Windows product: EUR 19.99 one-time payment with a lifetime license for up to 2 Windows PCs. No subscription, no usage credits. Activation needs a paid license key with online validation on every start (7-day grace period for connection failures); activation and deactivation require a network connection.

Translation text is processed locally on the PC. License checks, the model download, and update checks use the network. The first licensed run automatically downloads the required Best Quality local model (about 2.5 GB) and the app stays blocked until the download completes. A smaller fallback model (about 1.7 GB) can be installed as a secondary download where the app offers it. Only the MSI install supports automatic in-app updates; the portable ZIP has no updater.

Translation quality and availability depend on the source text, language pair and the installed local model. Iria handles selectable text in Windows apps — not full documents with layout or screen and game capture.
